**Introduction**

Michael Jordan is an former NBA player for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. He is from Brooklyn, New York. He holds all kinds of NBA records and he has won 6 NBA championships. Many people believe he is the best basketball player to ever live. He briefly stopped playing basketball for a couple of season and started playing baseball. He then returned to basketball where he went on to win a championship. Michael Jordan is now the current owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

LeBron James is a current basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is from Akron, Ohio. LeBron James has 3 NBA championships and multiple MVP’s under his belt. Many people believe he is the only player in NBA history who is challenging Michael Jordan for the greatest of all time title.

Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr

**Description**: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr born January 15, 1929 was a famous American Baptist minister. He was well known for his speeches and as a leader in the Civil Rights movement. He believed in equality without violence and disobedience.

He had one of the famous speeches in the world titles ”I Have a Dream.” Dr. King was born in Atlanta, and he was a Christian who practiced his beliefs. Dr. King was assassinated on April 4, 1968.

When and Where I was born

My name is Lamonte Christopher Rucker and I was born on June 4, 1997 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Where I go to school

I am currently a Junior at North Carolina A&T State University. I am a Journalism and Mass Communications student with a concentration in Mass Media Production.

Future Plans

After college, I plan on becoming a sports analyst or sports reporter. I have been a huge sports fan since I was a little kid and I plan on moving to Austin, Texas to join the ESPN crew.

I am the youngest of two sisters and I also have family that lives in Milton, Florida. My parents and I have lived in Winston-Salem all of our lives, but the farthest place I have visited in Orlando, Florida.

Facts about me

I can be a bit shy sometimes, but it is only when I do not know the person like that. Another thing is I am a laid back person who just likes to chill and watch TV. I am not the party type to go out every weekend.

Hobbies

I like to play and watch sports on my off time, and I also like to watch the TV show ”Power”. I also enjoy playing my Playstation 4 and hanging out with my friends on my off time. Another I like to do is go to the gym and work out.

Background with Sports

I started playing football at 6-years- old, and I played little league football for 4 years. When I got to High School I played 4 years of varsity football at Walkertown High School. I’ve been around sports all my life and I know everything there needs to know about the game of football.

Favorite sports teams

For the NFL my favorite team is the Indianapolis Colts, and I have been liking them since I was in the fourth grade. My favorite NBA team is the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Russell Westbrook is my favorite player. I also like Xavier University in College basketball.
